Tequila Sunrise Poptails! Get the recipe! -B. Lovely Events

We have another lovely recipe today from our super fun Celebrate Summer Party with PAMA and today is all about dessert! We can’t think of anything better to finish off a hot summer day than with Popsicles!  They are are just the right sweetness mixed with coolness and pretty much anything on a stick is a win by us. Well popsicles  just got a little more adult with these tequila sunrise poptails! Poptails are hitting the party scene in a big way {because who doesn’t love a frozen cocktail?} so we know this would be the perfect treat to finish off our party. The best news is they are DIY and yes! alcohol freezes if you do it the right way ; ). We have the step by step process for you to make these colorful poptails using of course PAMA! The ruby red color of their pomegranate liqueur made for lovely looking popsciles and their mix of premium vodka and a touch of imported tequila made the perfect flavor for these poptails. We put a little twist on the typical tequila sunrise recipe to. Ours makes the sunrise even bolder but we promise it is just as good! Enjoy these tequila sunrise poptails-we know you will!

Ingredients

-Recipe based on a popsicle mold of 12. Small count molds will have to adjust numbers

5 Oz Of PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur

2 Oz of Water

5-6 Oz of Simply Lemonade With Mango-Cold

3 Oz of Organic Lemonade-Cold

12 Mold Popsicle mold- We used this one from Amazon {Norpro Ice Pop Maker}

Start by mixing the 5 oz of PAMA with water in a bowl and pour in a measuring cup with spout. Pour mixture evenly over all 12 molds. (Add in more PAMA water mixture is liquid runs short) Only fill up between 1/4 and 1/2 into the molds. Don’t put the sticks in yet, those will be placed in next step. Put molds in freezer and freeze for 2-3 hrs. Check liquid and make sure it is frozen solid. If solid, pour the cold Simply Lemonade Mango into each of the molds until filled 3/4 of the way up on each popsicle. The mango gives it more of an orangey color and then the poured lemonade finishes it off with a yellow white color to really get the ombre effect.  Add sticks now to popsicles molds. Put molds in freezer and freeze for 2-3 hrs. Check liquid and make sure it is frozen solid. If solid, pour cold lemonade into the rest of the molds around the sticks, being sure not to overfill. A measuring cup with spout makes this easiest as well. Put molds in freezer and freeze for 2-3 hrs. Take out of freezer and let thaw for 5 minutes. running hot water on the outsides of the molds to break the popsicles free. Pull each popsicle out gentle. pushing on the sides for extra support and gentleness. Enjoy your poptail!
